Grand Central Terminal stands right in the middle of Park Avenue between East 42nd Street and East 45th Street. To the west side of Grand Central Terminal is Vanderbilt Avenue and to the east side of Grand Central Terminal is Depew Place. The total area of the terminal is 69.8 acres, which is still the world’s largest train station to this day. More than 750,000 people come to Grand Central Terminal a day, many are commuters who use the trains or subways as means of transportation. Others are people who own the businesses inside of the terminal or tourists who just come to see Grand Central Terminal and all its aspects. Grand Central Terminal is viewed as an iconic historical landmark to some, as a commercial space to others, or simply as a means of transportation.
