Professor Ambroziak’s Top Ten

Ten Things This Professor Loves

  1. Students who come to class prepared, enthusiastic about the material they’ve read whether they liked it or not. (Great discussions can be had about material one doesn’t love, too.)
  2. Students who aren’t afraid to ask pertinent questions that will open up the discussion.
  3. Students who take risks and venture into unknown territory by exploring subjects with which they’re unfamiliar.
  4.  Students with an open mind, ready to hear others out and give them the chance to change their opinion.
  5. Students who have their own ideas and are willing to share them with others in a giving and respectable manner.
  6. Students who come to my office hours when they’re struggling with something.
  7. Students who come to my office hours to tell me how much they enjoyed a class and why.
  8. Students who give me great material for their recommendation letters.
  9. Students who ask for recommendation letters.
  10. Students who are in class to learn no matter what the subject.
