I like this video analysis of Lear because it modernizes the plot and makes the classical novel into a much more casual conversation.

Now, I am someone who people can refer to as “hood” or “ghetto”, which is the niche that this video is trying to portray in order to make it a much more casual and informal video so that the audience better understands it. After a while, I began to find this video extremely loud and obnoxious, because the character portrayed in the video is simply not the way that a person actually behaves. It began to feel a bit stereotypical and somewhat of a mockery after only a few minutes. However, it is still effective in getting the information across in an easy to understand way, so I can’t be too judgmental.

The summary is short and sweet, mentioning only the essential details required to completely grasp the plot, while briefly giving insight into the themes in the story to allow the audience to elaborate by themselves.
