So I would like to write about You Tube and the first time I decided to search for something on this social network. I went to the dentist  and he advise me to have my wisdom teeth pulled out. He gave me 2 option. The first was to be put to sleep and have all 4 remove the same day. The second was to be awake and they would numb one side than I would come back and have the other side done. I was really scared and decided to look for videos on wisdom teeth. I was really amazed on how many videos they had on it. They even had professional videos that were provided by dentist to show how the wisdom teeth would be pulled out. I finally decided to be put to sleep because after watching all these videos I could not bear the thought to be awake while the doctor is drilling my mouth, cutting gums, and pulling teeth.

Another time I used You Tube was to learn how to put eyeshadow on. Now I know other female students can relate to this . I had to attend a wedding and really wanted to look my best. I hardly wear makeup but when I do wear it I do a bad job putting it on. So I decided to look for videos that would help and found some interesting tutorials on how to apply makeup. So after watching this I did some shopping bought some makeup accessories and did some practice at home. It really help and I am doing a better job at applying makeup. So I really do feel that social networks help with certain things they all have unique features. You tube especially has great potiental you can find anything on this social network. Even talent has been found on this as well as tutorials that help people understand and learn things.

It’s really amazing how much there is on YouTube and how useful some of it can be. I’m not surprised you chose to be sedated as I’m sure watching all those videos made you dread the surgery. I find that when I have a medical question, looking it up on the internet tends to lead to anxiety as it becomes very easy to imagine the worst case scenario. Ignorance is bliss, as they say, though we do have a drive to learn as much as we can about what we’re about to go through and the internet makes that pretty easy to do.

Youtube is an excellent resource for finding out just about everything, as well as Google obviously. Recently I just researched the same info on a website that pointed me in the right direction, as I was unsure of what kind of Olympia dentists did this sort of procedure. I eventually found the right one, and I actually decided to do them all with just the local numbing agents…worked great, didn’t hurt one little bit!
