The holy month of Ramadan has been a time for families to gather and break the fast with many dishes; however, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed all those habits. With skyrocketing unemployment and food insure many families found fasting to be very challenging.
Today I took a close look at Muslims giving back a non-profit organization’s hunger truck their activity this month was to break the fast for around 1000 people daily. I spoke with Mohammed Widi, the coordinator at (Muslim giving back) MGB, about his experience on the truck.
