BlackBerrys were arguably among the most coveted phones to have a few years ago, but with the advent of smartphones and the slow pace with which the company has had innovating its flagship design, BlackBerrys are now in decline and may soon reach an end. Rogers Communications, the Canadian Carrier which began working with BlackBerry over a decade ago, has chosen to not sell BlackBerry’s new flagship phone, the Z30. This is a huge blow to BlackBerry as this basically shows a lack of trust in BlackBerry from one of its main supporters and may cause other former supporters of BlackBerry to follow suit. Even though Rogers Communications continues to sell the other BlackBerry phones already on the market, this decision to not sell the Z30 may as well be the first step in digging BlackBerry’s grave since most of BlackBerry’s sales occur in Canada.
