In a COVID-19 free world my ideal MVP would be to run a pop-up at Baruch to show students the type of food that I am offering. From there I would be able to gauge people’s interest and receive feedback on the recipes. However, since that is not an option I believe I will need a landing page. This will be a place where potential customers could give me their email address and tell me what school they attend in order to show that they want my product in their school. I feel like I will need a custom url because it makes the page look more reliable which will encourage potential customers to trust me with their email addresses. On the page there will be a more detailed description of my product to properly convey my value proposition along with some photos of the food. Some of the details will include special features of the machine, promotional deals for first time users, and an example of the sustainability practices that are important to me. I will use Facebook as the social media channel to advertise my product because Facebook has the most amount of users. My ad will have a picture of the food in it’s recyclable package and it will ask the user if they would eat a salad from a vending machine. It will show the customer an example of what my product is while also giving them a peak into what makes my product different. The salad will look colorful, fresh, and delicious which will throw onlookers off and make them question how a salad like this could possibly come from a vending machine. I think using a question helps provoke people into thinking more about my product than they would with others.

Still love the idea and I think your landing page concept is good. I’m wondering if your Facebook ad will target Baruch Students or CUNY Students or perhaps you have another target market in mind.
