A class has been instructed to use the U.S. Government Manual to identify officials in the current administration, but the most current edition of that book, which is behind the reference desk, is not up-to-date. A better source is The Almanac of American Politics 2010 (Ref JK 1012 .A44).

The Almanac of American Politics 2010 (Ref JK 1012 .A44) has been placed behind the reference desk.
If this is a permanent – or at least semester-long – move, please do tell me so I can update the location on CUNY+ (an email is enough).
As a point of discussion, I wonder how many (if any) items we really need in our ready reference collection at the desk. For this particular item, I think keeping it in the reference collection greatly increases the odds that it will actually get used. If it is behind the desk, no browser of the reference collection (an admittedly rare if not extinct species) will ever stumble upon it. By keeping it behind the desk, it seems only to benefit us (unless of course we have reason to believe it will be swiped if left in the reference collection).
