This was the first piece I decided to try. When deciding to do this independent study, I thought that I have never done origami before, however, that isn’t the case. When researching trying to find a first, easy piece to start with, I saw this on the beginners section on YouTube. I remember making these in school with my art class and playing with them all day. This brought back such good memories, and sitting down making this piece was more relaxing than I could’ve imagined. Also, I was nervous that my first piece was going to be really hard, and I would get discouraged, but this was a great one to start with. The folding was simple and the video I watched gave step by step instructions on how to make it, I was successful in keeping up with the video without rewinding.
