Google announces the new Nexus 5 and a new operating system called Kitkat 4.4. This is a step in the right direction for Google. First the phone an amazing bang for the buck due its price of only $350 (off contract) while still offering all the high-end hardware more expensive phone offer. The second big step for Google is android 4.4 aka KitKat. With this new operating system Google continues its project butter initiative where they make the phone smoother to use. Overall there is a nice new look to the operating system and interesting new voice recognition software.
