Assumption Mapper

As I was analyzing my stepfathers’ obstacles as a blind person, I recognize that he struggles with things like not being able to call a cab, get dressed, get directions, and even order food. I also noticed that he walked around with a white cane all of the time. I thought of merging a camera with a voice control function technology into a white cane and thoroughly identified what problems this technology would solve. Therefore, I split the boxes into what problems were more urgent to a blind person. I also put into perspective the different obstacles and evaluated them by important and urgent category.

important assumptions: Cordless things are better for the blind

Non-important assumption: All blind people take cabs.

Non-important assumption( Difficult to test): Blinds have trouble getting dress

important assumptions( Need to test): There is a significant amount of blind  people that do not read brittle.
