Michael Lewis Epstein

Michael is a Doctoral Candidate within the Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience program at the Graduate Center, CUNY.  His current work uses psychophysical and neuroimaging techniques to explore the timing of ensemble perception—the statistical compression of perceptual information—in vision. Before beginning at CUNY, he worked as a research assistant with Daniel C. Javitt and Elisa C. Dias in the Schizophrenia Research Program at the Nathan Kline Institute and Columbia University.
