When the earth shook in Mexico City and as the humanitarian crisis deepens in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, heart-broken Latinos in Queens, N.Y., come together to mobilize efforts to help their motherlands. Many Mexicans and Puerto Ricans have been living in critical conditions after being hit with hurricanes, earthquakes and extreme flooding. Many victims still wait for basic needs, such as water and food.
