Poll workers in Nassau County work a long 15 hour day to be a vital part in the voting process on election days. In Nassau County, Poll inspectors are paid $180 dollars a day to work from 5:15 am to 9:30 pm and Poll Coordinators work the same hours for $210. The county poll workers spend the entire day setting up and closing the voting ballots for all of the voters, and making sure the voting process in Nassau County runs smoothly.
