See schedule for detailed descriptions of assignments.

Here is what is expected of you:

  • Provide good faith participation in completing readings and being active in class.
  • Write 7 brief posts on September 14, September 28, October 26, October 27, November 2, November 9, and November 16. You are asked to note one thing that was interesting or stood out to you and one question you have. You shouldn’t spend more than 20 minutes doing this and should likely take closer to 10 minutes doing this. We use these posts as material to start conversations in class.
  • Post each of the major assignment prompts you will be using in your ENG 2100 class so we can workshop them together.
  • Write Teaching Journal entries of 500-750 words.
  • Lead discussion based on a podcast episode, where you will generate at least discussion questions and reading recommendations.
  • Write In-Progress Teaching and Literacy Philosophy.
  • Keep in touch with your mentor throughout the term to check in on goals, successes, struggles, etc.
