Welcome Baruch students to the Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Advising Page! Here you will find information and resources if you are a student interested in applying to medical school or dental school.

When should you contact the committee to find out more information? As soon as you know you want to apply. Programs have different requirements. Medical and dental school applications require a committee letter, and you should familiarize yourself with those requirements as soon as possible.

Pre-med/pre-dental school students should contact the Department of Natural Sciences Recommendations Committee (Chair: Professors Keith Ramig keith.ramig AT baruch.cuny.edu) as soon as you know you are interested in eventually applying to these programs.

Students are required to complete both the Committee Letter Workshop and the “Waiver of Confidentiality” form prior to soliciting letters of recommendation from your professors. The Committee Letter Workshop will be held once a semester.
