Welcome to my website! 

My name is Princess Wilson. I am currently a freshman at Baruch College, CUNY, where I intend on majoring in digital marketing. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. 

I graduated from the High School of Fashion Industries, with the purpose of pursuing my long-held dream of fashion design. Drawing, crocheting, embroidery, sewing, cooking, and other creative activities have held my interest since I was a child. Spending my four years of high school producing design sketches, sewing projects, and even having to produce a full garment my senior year was absolutely an experience I gained from and will always appreciate. I graduated from high school with the confidence that with hard work and perseverance I could overcome any challenge. Also, understanding that fashion requires patience and the belief in yourself;  always believing in yourself even when others don’t. These are lessons that I will carry with me for life.

The plan was always to study business in college. The reason I chose marketing is because I love how there’s versatility with brands I can work with, especially if they complement my interests. Marketing is critical to a company’s performance and is the foundation of a successful business. 

On this website, I hope you can get to know me better and find things about me that will hopefully be a great fit for your organization. Designing this website is my digital portfolio. I plan on constantly updating the website, documenting my achievements and my college experience. As a first-generation student, this is even more special to me, knowing I can always look back on the amazing memories I’ve made and the growth I developed as a person and student, never forgetting these crucial years of my life. Also, having the chance to share this with my 7-year-old little sister, who will one day attend a university, She will always have access to this to learn from my mistakes. As well as be inspired to create her own digital portfolio!
