MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Consumer Marketing Summer Intern to join our dynamic team from June through August. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of consumer marketing, with a focus on influencer engagement, events, public relations and social media strategy. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities

Influencer & Events:

  • Assist with planning and execution of influencer marketing campaigns for global initiatives
  • Support the planning and execution of smaller pop-up events in New York City to engage influencers in the beauty and lifestyle space
  • Manage influencer mailers

Social Media:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of the social media strategy for global campaigns
  • Generate engaging organic content for various social media platforms
  • Monitor social media trends and provide insights for content optimization

Campaign Support:

  • Help plan and kick off the summer fall consumer marketing campaigns
  • Support the Paid, Earned, and Owned media teams with various tasks and projects

Relationship Building:

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key influencers and media contacts
  • Collaborate with creative teams and marketing teams to execute all business influencer and social strategy

Public Relations:

  • Coordinate press related events with fresh founders, media contacts and influencers
  • Assist with quarterly global consumer marketing reports

Assist with ad-hoc projects for the Consumer Marketing team

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Qualifications
PROFILE

You are:

  • A rising Junior, Senior or May 2025 graduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, or a related field

You have:

  • Prior internship experience in consumer marketing or a related field is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience or strong interest in the beauty industry is highly desirable
  • CapCut experience is highly desirable
