Ellen has been an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College since 1977. In 1976, she was an instructor of mathematics and accounting at a small junior college. She was promoted to Academic Dean in 1984 and then became the College Director until 2005. Her experience includes developing and implementing special programs for at-risk students. In addition to her academic and administrative accomplishments, she has extensive experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreement for both the union and for management.
