Project Background
This project is a collaboration between between two academic service units at Baruch College – the Center for Teaching and Learning (web link) (CTL) and the Student Academic Consulting Center (web link) (SACC). Funding was provided by the Encouraging Academic Momentum at CUNY grant through the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs.
Over the summer of 2017, a group of experienced instructors from SACC and the Department of Mathematics worked with the CTL to update existing lesson plans to create this complete resource of lesson plans that incorporate active learning classroom activities that are appropriate for specific CSTM 0120 and MTH 1030 topics and fit within the pacing of the course. The results of this work are reflected here.
