The fifth step is to start my own 3d printing venture capital fund. to do this i will need to leverage all i have learnt to the point to convince investors that i can invest there money in worthwhile companies. i want to invest in early stage companies because thats were i feel i can make the biggest difference. after raising the necessary money then i get to the fun part, i have to start looking for companies that i believe in and i want to invest in. at this stage i will be able to help fellow entrepreneurs accomplish there goals and push 3d printing to a whole new level. Already there are funds being set up to do exactly what i want to do. Autodesk created the $100 million Spark Investment Fund to find and fund hardware, software, materials and marketplace startups. so we see that there is a great opportunity to shape the future of 3d printing, and i believe founding my own fund to do that is the best way.
