I found a lot of interesting facts about what i decided to research. Heading in i wanted to learn as much as i could about the growing 3d market. i wanted to see for myself what is needed to get from were we are now to were the 3d market could be. We read in textbooks about the possibilities of 3d printing, but to get there we will need a lot of innovation. i believe the best way to innovate is to fund ideas with the money needed to pursue them. i accomplished buying together a plan of action that would lead me to my goal of starting a venture capital fund for 3d printing. By planning it out i was able to see what i need to learn to accomplish my goals. My research shows that there are companies, big and small, looking to hire talent; the environment to start and build a 3d printing startup is unbelievable, there are already so many dedicated people building cool things to change the world. Also i showed that the idea to make a fund specifically for 3d printing already exists and that this industry is only going to grow. The implications for me are that my plan is very possible; this industry is always looking for new people to get involved and help it grow. i want my work to help push 3d printing to relies its full potential. My starting my own 3d printing company and later on funding companies I will be doing a big part in bringing 3d printing to the masses.
