About This Project
In a time of economic turmoil and swift technological advances, New Yorkers are doing their best to adjust to an ever shifting social landscape. These stories reported by journalism students at Baruch College chronicle these adaptations, small and large. The project includes stories about the emergence of a new Little Philippines in Queens, the work of two hip photographers who create art in the city’s club scene and a new trend in women’s exercise — early morning boot camps.
