Prior to recording our video about procrastination, we outlined the process we would go through in order to complete our slideshow. An idea that I brought up to include in our slideshow was the act of receiving a message from a friend who wanted to hang out, which served as a distraction from the assignment in our slideshow. In contribution to the physical slideshow, I participated as the friend in the video who came up to Gary to have a conversation as another one of our distractions. Towards the end of our video, I thought that it would be effective to show the results of not procrastinating in showing the A that was received on the secondary assignment. Overall, our group worked very collectively in being able to formulate our ideas into a physical piece.

In order to take pictures for our slideshow, we used my phone, and for many of the pictures, I gave my input on which angle is best for the pictures. After my group took pictures for our slideshow, we have decided that I would create the powerpoint, put the pictures in order, and put them together. For each day of procrastination (which is what our video is about), we show something else the main person is distracted with. To adequately show this order, in each slide (“day”), I ordered the pictures from left to right, to be consistent for each “day”, and because it is easy for people to follow along. Along with the order of the slideshow, I have also added the text that we need for the slideshow; none of the text reveals anything about the message, but it is a big part in our slideshow.

When my group and I were planning what to do I was the one who suggested the topic that we decided to do, which is procrastination, and how we depict everything through days before an assignment. I also helped plan out what exactly the slideshow would feature, which is something everyone pitched in their ideas to help create and everyone had a role in making the script. I was also in most of the slideshow as the main character of the presentation. Overall everyone in the group played a role in this project and it a collaborate effort by everyone involved.
