- United States Citizen and Immigration Services website. I found this to be useful because they chronologically detail out the most important immigration policies that the United States has implemented throughout the years. They also describe what they’re thought process was when creating the specific immigration policy.
- A PDF from the Government Publishing Office. In the PDF, they have numerous chapter that detail out many topics such as Major Immigration Categories, Permanent Admissions, and Enforcement Efforts. These categories also include specific years in which can make my research easier.
- Peer Reviewed Article: Warmth of the Welcome. In this article, Elizabeth Fussell describes many different attitudes and viewpoints from many different groups of people towards immigration.
These all contribute to my research as they help me find different immigrations policies within the last two centuries. As well as helping me see how impactful these policies were, not only to immigrants, but to everyone in the United States.
