This article discusses the life and motivations of a regional acclaimed fashion designer with international recognition; Nanette Lepore. She grew up with the mentality that life was work, so she was always diligent doing things she loved, like sewing. She studied business administration at FIT in NYC during the mid 80’s. On Wednesday, September 11, she showcased her spring/summer collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held at Lincoln Center. She is also very interested in having manufacturing more in the U.S.
