One of the major intentions would be to seem like a friendly approachable company. Due to the effects of our product and the product itself it would create some mistrust or fear to use. This is the main reason to why a more approachable attempt will be made in order to form a connection. The main way to form a connection with people now are through ads, gaining their interest, and sponsoring people who they support. The main social media platforms that would be used are Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube.

Snapchat is widely popular with younger generation, however, there is still a generous portion. It’s streaks, face altering filters, game filters, bitmoji and other functionalities aid in attracting people. Many of the companies that display ads create filters and add ads between stories. Desiderol would do the same thing, except we would collaborate with bitmoji. The ads would serve an ad function meanwhile the filters and bitmoji outfits would allow other people to share desiderol on their own. In addition, to help spread the word about desiderol there will be a story created by Desiderol by sent to us.

Instagram has a variety of age groups. However, this is mainly run by influencers, people who have great amount of followers and are capable of having an effect on how another person thinks or behaves. For instance, if an influencer really likes something they may mention it (at a price) and people will buy it out of interest or as “support” to that person. This would be the main way in which Instagram will be used other than posting things people send us of their experience.: The main approach would be to attract followers through an aesthetic profile, user experience, and an interactive platform to communicate.

Multiple companies have been able to have damage control or simply increase their publicity when interacting with their customers in a comedic manner. Since the product, Desiderol is supposed to enhance an individual’s day to day and this would be a way to ease the company into a company that seems friendly and caring, even if it is through jokes and dark humor.

Facebook is mainly used by older age groups, but it remains with a decent amount of other age groups. It is one of the original platforms that is still currently used. Many younger audiences are willing to adapt certain things such as new phones, the internet of things, artificial intelligence, but older customers tend to stay away from new innovative products. By finding a way to reach these older audiences it may be easier to find a way to connect with them and ease them into the product.

Similar to instagram, youtube is a platform that allows people to subscribe to others. The people creating the videos and posting them on Youtube are usually called youtubers and they tend to have strong support. Desidrol would sponsor those youtubers who tend to explore or get invited to different events that consist of innovative positive products. Although, it is common to see them fall into controversy and soon reach a downfall. For this reason, Desidrol would make its own videos created by the same people who created the product and other experts.

People tend to look at ads for different reasons in public transportation. Two being boredom and a way to avoid eye contact with other passengers. As they sit or stand there bored, perhaps, the ad can spark some sort of curiosity that may allow them to look more into the product and use it.
