Hey there reader! My name is Priya Thakur and I’m the creator, reporter, writer, and photographer for this blog. I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Journalism at Baruch in January 2024.

I made “The Queens Catwalk” during the Spring 2023 semester with Professor Haller and her Journalistic Blogging course. One of the best classes I’ve ever taken!

This blog is now retired, but my passion for cats will remain forever. I hope to continue supporting the hardworking yet underfunded cat community in NYC. If there’s one thing I could leave you with: I also encourage you, reader, to spread your kindness towards the cat community as well.
