Long Island’s warmer weather brings a slew of music festivals that you probably don’t want to miss. Some revolve around up and coming musicians, while others are all about the big celebrities. Check it out:

LI is kicking off the season with the Montauk Music Festival starting May 17. There will be dozens of up-and-coming musicians playing a variety of genres. The event is entirely free, unless you choose to go to the kick-off party.

Susiepalooza will be hosting their 4th annual backyard fundraiser for pancreatic cancer at the end of August. The fest will feature mostly local bands. All proceeds go to pancreatic cancer research.

The Great South Bay Music Festival in July will feature bands like Sublime with Rome, and The Front Bottoms, as well as up-and-coming local Long Island bands.

Don’t miss the Vans Warped Tour stop at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on July 28th. This is the last year of the tour! Go see your favorite bands and check out the handful of local bands that will be attending.

Of course we can’t forget about the BLI Summer Jam in June—some of the hottest artists will be right here on Long Island at Jones Beach theater.
