Hello everyone, I would like to welcome you all to our brand new Up And Coming blog site. What you could expect from us is brand new talent that will be reviewed by quality writers on a weekly basis. You should expect to hear a perspective that is honest and unapologetic. This is no cookie-cutter blog site that will give you politically correct responses to albums because we know you guys are real people who want to hear real thoughts.
Every week we will pick an album or artist that we deem worthy of being listened too and we will give our critique. Our selection process will be decided on a number of factors. First and foremost, the music has to be dope. It is as simple as that. We want to give the hottest up and coming artist the most exposure we can give them. We consider spreading the word of great up and coming artists our contribution to the fans of music and the artist. Second, we would measure the activity levels of the album or artist. Some examples of this are the numbers of shows that they have, we track their fan following, any revenue that we can find that is generated, record sales. We will also judge based on originality. If an artist is making money and but is copying another artist we will seriously factor on our judgment.
As time progresses there will be other things that we introduce to the site. We have giveaways prizes and things of that nature for our visitors. We will provide exclusive content from artist that won’t be seen anywhere else. Also, we would love to have some you give us recommendations as well.
