Digitalize Me

My concept for this project took inspiration from the video Electric Earth by Douglas Aitkin where he takes objects or animals and put them in a different environment to create a bizarre and new context or message. In this project I used After effects to make fun of how everything is digitalized today like textbooks, mail and photos. I wanted to make something nonmoving and make them animated. I used a theme of magic with a spell book as a base so the tricks and effects on the video has a reason and can be explained. I added sound to add to the effect and make it more dynamic. I wanted to show different things you can do on After effects and it relate it to our digital world like ebooks, emojis and filters on social media.
