My name is Vitalina Voitenko and I am a first year student at Baruch College. I am learning a lot of new things on the way to my goal of a successful marketing career.

I am a student of Marketing Management and Advertising and minoring in Communications. I was very interested in this major because I always liked to look behind the scenes of various advertising projects and I thought about how I would shoot an advertisement for the product. Therefore, working in this area, I want to enjoy my work. I want to analyze the market, come up with a concept for selling and testing a product for advertising. I believe that when selling a product, we must guarantee its quality and be clear to our customers.

I was born and raised in my homeland Ukraine. And I moved to the United States five years ago. Over the years I have experienced a lot as an immigrant during all this time. On my way, there were difficulties and challenges like making new acquaintances, learning another language and getting used to a completely different life. Through overcoming these challenges, I had developed a great deal of confidence as well as learned from my mistakes.

In my free time, I enjoy to spend time with my family and my dog. Together we like to get out into nature, or sit in a restaurant and have a good time. Also, I enjoy photography, by this pictures I am saving a moment, and then reviewing them later. I was also a very active child. Therefore, during this time I tried many different sports such as swimming, equestrian sport, dancing, taekwondo, and what I still enjoy is tennis. Although sport was diverse, I believe it must be present in my life because it is an excellent way to relax and stay active.
