I love how Pynchon takes the true events of WW2 history and spins them into this elaborate, fantastic world. Instead of The CIA, we have the Firm. Instead of mind control, which they used to force people to do god knows what, we have all these characters with superhuman abilities. (It reminds me a little of the series Heroes.) After watching this video, I wonder which world is crazier and which world is worse, Pynchon’s (possibly drug induced) fantasy world or the one we live in. The MK ULTRA mission should be science fiction. I think I understand this correctly.

There is actually a really terrible movie (and I mean terrible as in, how could anyone think this is a good movie terrible) about MK Ultra, as well as a song by my favorite band (Muse) titled MK Ultra.

Just throwing that out there if anyone wants to watch a bad movie. I don’t recommend it.

I have to admit, our history and what we did was pretty fucked up. This shit is beginning to leak out from what happened so long ago, i hope in our lifetime we dont have to see this dehumanization of people again. Imagine what these people went through, not being fed, imsomnia, drugged with mega drugs that have serious side effects like lsd. All for what? Where do the ends justify the means? Im pretty pissed right now because government feels they can have tht control and fuck with us. If nobody finds out they can get away with it, so how much dont we know about what the government does? This is mind boggling.

As far as operation paper clip, basically President Truman won the war because if those minds stayed in Germany and worked under Hitler, they would have torn shit up. The end result was the manhatan project which scared the shit out of everybody. Instead they came over and helped us win the war.

Sorry, the name of the movie is The Killing Room, released in 2009. Again, I really don’t recommend watching this movie.

This is pretty trippy stuff. Mike said it all, really, I can’t even say I can’t believe it because there’s so much corruption that leaks out of the government long after ‘they’ve’ committed these crimes, often just as heinous as the ones ‘they’ claim to combat. It’s pretty disgusting that the government finds excuses for such things, and when they seize to make sense, just try to hide them. I know that these 9 victims were able to reveal the truth of Project Parperclip, but I wonder how many other individuals were silenced in other experiments and what secret activities we may still remain ignorant of today.

This video was pretty disturbing and sad to watch. It reminds me of the internment camps the Japanese Americans were forced into during WWII — people involuntarily doing what the government ordered them to do.

The experiments performed in project MK Ultra were inhumane. Did the scientists view themselves as Gods? And $100,000 to compensate for mental torture and probably psychological scarring for the rest of one’s life? That’s terrible.

To be honest, this video feels a little bit like an attempt at mind control. But trippy video editing aside, the subject is real and it doesn’t surprise me in the least. The U.S. government has a history of waving the flag of righteousness in everyone’s face whilst desperately trying to keep the lid on all of its own illicit, hypocritical and downright inhumane activities.

Just to clear up what Mike said, the Nazis that were brought to America were brought here after WWII ended, not during. The mind control specialists are not the ones who helped us “win the war”; it was Einstein who fled Nazi Germany and Hitler’s regime because he didn’t want Hitler in possession of something as powerful as the atomic bomb. Go figure, he gave us the knowledge (which was the entire basis of the Manhattan Project) and one could argue that our abuse of the weapon was just as horrible as anything Hitler might have done.

I was truly disturbed by the fact that these people were forced to take drugs and be haunted by it’s side effects. The fact that it’s humans being tested is a damn shame.

We’ve seen it in south America recently when they used patients, human patients as lab rats. What the hell is that all about??
