Welcome to our final blog,

For this blog we hope to show and explain to you (our classmates) how traditional households should continue to exist – female caregivers and men breadwinners?

As stated by David Popenoe a sociologist at Rutgers University, “We should disavow the notion that ‘mommies can make good daddies,’ just as we should disavow the popular notion . . . that ‘daddies can make good mommies.’ . . . The two sexes are different to the core, and each is necessary culturally and biologically for the optimal development of a human being.” We believe that this statement is true.

I also want to tell you how men think and feel about earning less? Do they mind earning less? Do they think about themselves less now that they don’t earn as much?
