Mid-semester (March), each student will meet with me for a half-hour one-on-one conference to discuss your writing. We can focus on a particular assignment, a few assignments, specific questions about genre, essay structure, audience, modalities, and so forth. This is your half hour, so please feel free to choose its focus and direction.
Below, are the particulars for these conferences. Once all the appointments have been made, I will update this list so that we have a clear idea of who is meeting when.

One-on-One Conferences
Below is the list of available times for your one-on-one conferences with me. Our conference will take place in my office, VC7–290D. Please note that this is a half hour in which you get to choose the topic(s) of our conversation. Thus, we can begin looking at the intertextual analysis assignment, we can go over a revision of an earlier assignment you are working on, or we can begin to look ahead to the research paper. Please come with a notebook and list of your questions. Please also bring a copy of an assignment you are working on, or an assignment you will have received back from me (such as Assignment #1).
This conference is also a productive opportunity for us to talk about issues important to your growth as a writer, issues which we have not yet touched on in class (for example, do you want to spend more time on grammar, of so, what area(s) of grammar)?
