The essay written by Asimov is a question of what we consider ‘intelligence’. He questions it because typically he’s always the smart one when answering academic-based tests but when it comes to other things, such as car repair, he knows nothing. My definition of intelligence is being knowledgeable about something. That could be a hobby, interest, or job but if they’re knowledgeable in that field then they are intelligent. Compared to Asimov I also think everyone is intelligent, but it depends on what. My strengths are that I’m a fast learner, problem solver and I’m creative. Some of my interests include reading, hiking, exploring, traveling, watching films, and listening to music. The only talent I think I have is drawing.
My results did not go above 90% and my lowest was a score of 59%. My top intelligence types are Visual/Spatial (88%), Intrapersonal (78%), Bodily/Kinesthetic (78%), and Musical (78%). I do feel like my results are accurate especially since my lowest score was for Logical/Mathematical (59%). I absolutely hate math, so I expected that. I am also a visual learner, so my top intelligence type was also expected. I think my intelligence types compared with my strengths, interests and talents because I expected the ranks. I wasn’t shocked by them because I’m more of a creative person and it reflects on what I’m good at and what I am more knowledgeable in. I find more joy in visual and hands-on experiences, so my intelligence is more catered to what I enjoy doing.
