7 Days Of Code Switching:
Day 1- 09/11/23: I found myself code switching when I was talking to my classmates and then the professor.
Day 2- 09/12/23: I code switched when I was speaking to my little sister and then my mom
Day 3- 9/13/24: I code switched when I was talking to my teammates and then my coach
Day 4- 9/14/23: I found myself code switching when I was speaking between my parents and grandparents
Day 5- 9/15/26: I code switched at the grocery store when I was speaking on the phone to my friends and then was asking a worker for help
Day 6- 9/16/26: I code switched when I was speaking between my siblings.
Day 7- 9/17/23: I code switched when I was talking between my older and younger cousin.
I loved the example with your siblings. I used it as well.
I can relate to your day 1 example and have been doing that often as well.
I also code switched whenever I spoke to someone new. I felt it most when I compare how I spoke with my family members and others.
I also code switch differently when I’m speaking to my little brothers compared to when I’m speaking to my mom and dad. It just comes naturally since there’s a big difference in the people you are talking to.
