I chose an article/analysis titled “WTF does race have to do with taxes? as you can guess by the title is about how race connects to your taxes. In the text it tells me that it turns out that your race plays a big role in whether you get that letter and a lot more about your taxes, like how much you might owe the IRS, which tax breaks you can get, and even which benefits you can claim. I was shock of how your race can be affected for your tax and this is not fair. Dorothy Brown was a pathbreaker in illuminating how race shapes America’s tax system. Dorothy showed the trace some of the booby traps in our tax system, like how our tax code supercharges discrimination in housing and even how it makes it harder for lots of black folks to pay back their student loan. Black people were not the only people harmed by the tax code. Hispanic people are also harmed. This was a good exposure because individuals were getting scammed badly by the taxes.

These are things that you tend to not think about but when you do the research it’s crazy to think about and see how much of a role that it does play on your taxes.
I chose the same article and agree with you when you say you were shocked at how your race can be affected by your tax and this is not fair. I feel like there should be a solution to this crisis.
