7 day code-switching

Days that I realize I code switchWhom or what group I code switch with
Day 1With my professor. I speak formally to them compared to how I speak at home.
Day 2With my family. I talk a lot more casually in my language compared to how I talk with my peers at school
Day 3With an interviewer. I had a job interview today and I spoke formally to them instead of speaking casually.
Day 4With my siblings- I talk in a more stern and playful tone with my siblings.
Day 5With my classmates- I talk more casually to them than when I’m talking to my professor.
Day 6My cousins- I talk to my cousins the way how I talk to my siblings than
Day 7With my grandparents- I talk to them more like a kid than when I’m talking to my parents.

  1. I really liked how you organized the days with a chart! It makes it look pleasing to the eyes. I can also relate to how you speak to your sibling because I do the same being the oldest.

  2. I agree that when I do see my family I speak with them differently than with people at school. Even within my own family is speak to my siblings and parents differently.

  3. I like how concise/straightforward your log was^^Wish I did that. I also agree with your code switch talk to my siblings in a humorous/playful tone in English cause I’m around them more.
