Interview Question

Living inside my head is like organized chaos. Our brains are the most complex computers to ever exist, and mine’s no different. I can’t even explain it, but sometimes it’s as if my mind is totally blank when I’m trying to think, remember, or do anything important. Other times, especially late at night, I get the randomest, deepest, philosophical thoughts out of nowhere that just keep me up at night for whatever reason. I like to imagine my brain like that one episode of Spongebob where Spongebob can’t remember a customer’s name, and his subconscious is going crazy. I feel like that’s my brain on a daily basis. But there’s a bright side: my cats. They’re just cute and goofy, and being around them instantly makes me feel a tad bit less crazy. In simpler terms, I’d say my brain is usually all over the place.

  1. I agree with you on the fact that our brains are the most complex computers to ever exist. It’s almost a little strange on how our brains in reality control us. It’s cool how you’re able to connect your brain to an episode of Spongebob! I also think that having a pet can bring us a little peace one in a while and its nice to see that your cats are the bright side of your day.

  2. I totally can relate to you. Living inside your mind is chaotic and counterproductive. We’re constantly bombarded with thoughts every second doubting our every move and it can be overwhelming at times. I remember that Spongebob episode where SpongeBob loses his mind trying to turn the Krusty Krab into a 5-star restaurant in an effort to become a fine waiter and help Squidward fulfill his dreams. At the end of the episode, I believe Spongebob completely forgot his name in the process of removing all the knowledge from his brain. Yep, the brain is definitely something beyond our control at certain times.

  3. Fun fact(or not) the human brain is one the most complex things in this universe(so far) since there is so much to it like our thoughts, behavior, how it performs like a computer, functionality over our bodies and so much more. It’s no wonder why at times our brains are just in complete shambles, they’ve reached overload and we just go blank. I agree with Marla on how funny it is that our brains which don’t seem like much in size, being all soft and squishy, commands our every move, function, and way to live. My advice is when you have those moments, take a break, drink some ice cold water to snap back in reality, douse your face with cold water, and relax.

  4. You got to love a good Spongebob reference. I agree on the fact that our minds can be very confusing. I myself get very random, out of nowhere thoughts. But it’s not always a bad thing. Those random thoughts help me come up with ideas for music. Stay random bro!!
