Day 1: I started to look more in-depth at Wikipedia because previously, before learning about it in class, I didn’t know about all the features where you can look at the history of the page or the comments left on it.
Day 2: I made my Wikipedia account and attempted to do the ‘Wikipedia Adventure Game.’ Along the way, it was asking me to complete a task that I wasn’t able to do so I gave up.
Day 3: I tried the adventure game one more time. This time I was able to get a bit farther but was never able to complete the whole thing. I also started to look at the Red List but couldn’t find anyone.
Day 4: At one point, I started searching up random famous women that I could think of to see if any of them would potentially not have a Wikipedia page, but they all did. I also tried to find the comments that people may have about their profile but I wasn’t able to find anything because I was having a hard time figuring out where everything is.
Day 5: I looked into multiple different occupations that I was interested in to find a woman to write about. I looked into psychologists, directors, actors, singers, nurses, writers, and more. However, even after looking at all those categories, I still couldn’t find someone.
Day 6: I decided to go further down in the list where you can find women based on the sport that they play. I looked at volleyball players and there was no one there. But then, I clicked on figure skaters and did a lot of looking and found the woman I’ll be doing, Aureliga Ipolito.
Day 7: I did further research into the woman I chose to see that there isn’t much information available about her but there is enough to write at least about her figure skating history.
I didn’t know how to the adventure either as it was telling me to do something and not leading me anywhere
I was also not able to complete the whole Wikipedia adventure, I had trouble with one of the levels.
