For years now, one of Apple’s biggest rumor has been about the Apple TV, but now for the past year and a half, the new rumor seems to be the Apple iWatch. After the release of Samsung’s galaxy gear watch, it seems more likely that Apple will release an iWatch. There have been several news and blog posts based on Samsung’s gear watch, where it was not the best thing to carry with you through out your regular day to day activities. Critics gave it a bad review due to Samsung’s gear watch being too buggy and being only compatible with the Galaxy Note, making the watch’s features even more limited. To be able to use all the functions of the watch, you would have to carry the huge Samsung’s Galaxy Note with you through out the time you have the watch on your wrist, which I personally found ridiculous. The Watch had a pretty cool design and all, but the functionality of the watch did not live up to its expectations. A lot of people prefer carrying a regular watch on their wrists, rather than going through a hassle with this faulty piece of hardware.

Due to all the negative review I have heard about the Samsung gear watch, I personally think it would be an unwise idea to release an iWatch at this time. Like sure, Apple releasing an iWatch does sound like a pretty cool idea, but maybe not that cool, when you actually picture yourself talking to your watch while walking through the middle of the streets or even taking pictures with the camera integrated within the watch. The watch just might be a cool watch to have on your wrist, to somehow just drag attentions. But useful wise, I believe having a phone and camera function within a watch is completely irrelevant. I honestly do not see myself now or in the future actually talking to my watch, or even having some sort of a video chat with someone else in my contacts with my watch, due to the lack of LTE and WiFi working flawlessly with Apple’s line of products.

But then again, that is my personal thought. Apple might end up proving us wrong, by releasing something that is a little similar to the so-called iWatch and being ten times better than Samsung’s gear watch. In many ways the iWatch can be better than the Samsung’s gear watch, which would be more bug free and have more cool features integrated within the watch itself. The iWatch can also be more independent, rather than having to carry or purchase an Apple iPhone or device just so you can use your iWatch. And also I think Apple should begin looking into creating their products that are more water resistant, so consumers are able to worry less about using the sink with their watches are on their wrists or going to some water park and so. Apple still hasn’t released any news based on the iWatch, but Tim Cook did hint that the iWatch would be a cool futuristic device to have a couple months back, which would most definitely excite a lot of consumers. But we might have to just wait and see what actually will happen.

Huffington Post’s Timothy Stenovec recently wrote an article about how the iPhone 5S have failed on creating this Biometric Fingerprint Scanner within the new iPhone. The Article pointed out that a user, by the name of Fred Kahl who is a 48 year old creative director, reported multiple complaints based on the new fingerprint scanner in the iPhone 5S. Fred is one of the many people who never enjoyed entering a password on his phone, but thought the fingerprint scanner would save him time entering a password and just simply log in the phone by scanning his fingerprint. But turns out that the fingerprint scanning feature worked for him only 75% of the time he scanned his fingerprint. This situation turned out to be somewhat of a major issue for him, therefore now he is going back to the old iPhone he carried before, which has no feature of scanning his fingerprint. The Article also mentioned how a large number of consumers have been complaining about the same issue and how they are also looking to go back to either their old iPhones or switch to another smartphone.

I had the iPhone 5S for two months so far and I definitely did not have any problems scanning my fingerprint. I honestly believe the users who are complaining about the iPhone 5S are just trying to exaggerate about a very minor issue. There are times where I scan my fingerprint on the phone and it does not go through, it will notify me to ‘try again’. The times this happens for me is usually the times I am not looking at the phone as I enter my fingerprint or I am in a rush entering my fingerprint on the scanner. But one thing I noticed as I got the ‘try again’ message once more, was that the actual placement of my finger on the scanner was not the way it was when I first entered my fingerprint to the iPhone 5S when I bought it. When you are entering your fingerprint for the first time within the iPhone, it is not like the iPhone recognized your entire thumb or like every angle of your thumb. So next time if you are scanning your fingerprint to access the phone, you should be placing your finger on the scanner just as the way you entered it to the phone when you first purchased it. Another option would be to use up all 5 fingerprints, you are able to enter within the iPhone, on every angle of your thumb or any other finger. Which will definitely guarantee you access to your iPhone every time you scan your fingerprint.

I also read up that Apple is trying to reply to this issue by releasing a new update to the iOS, which will make the fingerprint scanner function of the iPhone 5S less sensitive, therefore will increase the chances for you to get access to your iPhone right when you scan your finger. Which I believe is a better idea, but the only downfall would be less security, where other people can gain access to your iPhone by scanning their fingerprint (might be similar to owners fingerprint). So we might just have to wait and see what the outcome of this situation might be. But overall I believe people should be grateful to have such a cool feature on their smartphones, which does work ten times better than the fingerprint scanner on the Motorola smart phone they released couple months back.

On October 22nd, Apple announced that their newly anticipated iPad will be released on November 1st of this year. This new iPad will consist of many new features, but the most important feature would be the light weight of the product. Other features of the iPad Air include the new 64 bit A7 processor alongside the M7 co-processor, retina display and LTE support. At this point, many of you might say “Wait, didn’t the previous iPad have majority of those features?!”, and I most certainly agree. The new iPad did not have a major upgrade for a device that had so much potential to show off as a new generation tablet with state of the art features.

I honestly believe Apple had a flop with this product, where their might be many customers who will purchase this product, due to their attachment to Apple’s line of product, but their definitely will be those who will not purchase this item due to the iPad Air’s lack of new features. And you can count on the fact that I might be one of the few that do not go head on to purchase this new iPad Air. I am honestly a huge fan of Apple’s line of products, but I was very disappointed with this one, as Apple could have added more exclusiveness to this device. There are many new features Apple could have added, such as the newly hyped fingerprint scanner and the dual-flash camera features from the iPhone 5s. By creating whole new iPad, which could have included features from iPhone 5s and this whole new light weight on the iPad, I believe Apple would have made the right decision and their sales would have had more chance of increasing for their iPad Air product.

On the other hand, I believe Apple is running out of ideas, where I personally feel like this new light weight iPad is unnecessary. For example, I never heard of anyone complaining about the previous full iPad about its weight or saying anything like, “Oh, I can’t bring my iPad to work today due to its weight”. Like c’mon, is this whole new light weight tablet really really necessary? Apple is most certainly wasting their time and energy on useless products such as this.

I recently sat down with one of my co-workers to discuss her interest in Apple’s line of products for the iPad. From what I know she is a huge fan of iPads, where she had almost all of the previous generations iPads that have been released. I asked her a good dozen questions, but one of the main question I asked her was, “What would you have liked to see on the new iPad release they just announced?”. She replied with a simple answer, “The fingerprint scanner from the iPhone 5S”. Right then I noticed that I am not the only one who was disappointed with the results of the new iPad Air. Through out the interview, she also mentioned that she never had any problem with the weight of the iPad and also said how she will pass on the new iPad Air this year, where she is happy and satisfied with the iPad 3 she currently owns.

I really hope Apple plans stepping their game up as times continues, where they add the features on their iPad line very slowly, just like putting retina display on its iPads much later than the iPhone 4 released with its retina display. And most likely they will end up putting the fingerprint scanner on the iPad one year from now, which is honestly too late.

It’s been three weeks since Apple released their new iPhone 5S, which came in colors such as, Space Grey, Silver and Gold. It has a new A7 chip, dual-flash Camera and a finger-print scanner for security purposes. During the release of the iPhone 5S, the inventory stock was very limited, therefore getting your hands on one of them was quiet a challenge. Even I had to wake up extra early and go wait on the Apple Store line for more than 3 hours at Grand Central Terminal. But surely the experience was great, the employees of Apple served the customers FREE cupcakes! and water bottles as we waited. Also we got a loud round of applause from all of Apple’s employees as we entered the store. Making it one awesome experience.

Unfortunately, the cool new phone and experience did not do justice for many iPhone 5s buyers. Where now there seems to be multiple bugs and serious issues that are not being fixed with Apple’s iOS software updates. One major issue many users have been facing was the “Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)”, where the iPhone 5S would stumble upon a full blue screen during the middle of its use and just automatically reboot itself. The blue screen of death (BSOD) is a common situation for old Windows PC’s, where the Hard Drive crashes and in some cases its just about time to say ‘Good bye’ to your PC. So its best to hope that your iPhone 5S does not turn out to be in that type of situation.

Currently sources such as PC Magazine are saying that the causes of this Blue Screen are mainly occurring from the usage of Apple’s iWork apps such as Pages, Numbers and Keynote. I actually did not believe this at first, but I just took a shot on using these apps for about 5 minutes and decided to multi-task a little and then came back to Apple Pages on my iPhone 5S, and “BAM!” I received a Blue Screen!! But it quickly rebooted itself and is now back to its normal self, just as PC Magazine’s, Chloe Alabnesius said it would!

So I decided to poke around the settings of the iPhone 5S and found myself disabling the iCloud sync settings for the iWork apps. I performed the entire process of using these apps intensively for 10 minutes this time and now the iPhone 5S didn’t receive the blue screen!!

But I honestly think this is ridiculous, iPhone 5S is supposed to be one of the top notch devices out in the technology market at this point, but this flaw on the phone is now on the way to degrade its value. I really hope Apple releases an iOS software update real soon, that will remove these errors and let the phone blossom the way it was meant to!

Apple’s iPhone’s tend to always have some sort of error or issue during its first new batch of iPhones, but I really hope they do not let this be the first of many permanent issues to come for their iPhone line.

I’m sure all of you have either owned an iPhone, seen an iPhone or maybe even touched an iPhone at least once in your life. If you haven’t, then you must be living under a rock… Where Apple’s iPhone has been one of Apple’s most famous and highest selling product for the last 6 years now.

It all began with the 1^st generation iPhone in 2007, then iPhone 3G is 2008, 3GS in 2009, 4 in 2010, 4S in 2011, 5 in 2012 and now two different iPhone models releasing in one year, which is the iPhone 5S & 5C. This is the first time Apple has decided to release two things that were irregular on their behalf, first releasing two models of an iPhone at the same year and second is changing their iOS into a completely different user platform than from the iOS versions from before. The new iOS 7 contains countless number of cool features and is on the verge of breaking records.

Yes, the iOS 7 by itself will do Apple justice for the new iPhone 5S, but right then Apple decided to increase the 5S’s “coolness” to a higher level, as Tim Cook introduced 3 Solid New Features of the iPhone 5S. First is the brand new 64 Bit A7 chip processor working with the new Motion co-processor called the M7 chip. Second is the new upgraded iSight Camera with multiple interesting new features and finally third is the amazing Touch ID, which simply is a fingerprint scanner made for security purposes on your iPhone.

A7 Chip:

The A7 chip processor is the world’s first 64-bit processor, which will increase your smartphone’s speed by a large notch. The A7 chip is aligned with the brand new M7 chip that basically will know when you’re walking, running or even driving. This M7 chip will come in real handy at times for GPS purposes and even saving your battery life, where the M7 chip is capable of knowing when the phone hasn’t been touched in awhile, therefore lowers the network pinging to spare the battery life.

iSight Camera:

The new iSight camera has various cool features, where they have left the megapixels of it as 8MP but has increased the quality of the pictures. Apple believes megapixels are overrated, where great quality pictures doesn’t just come from the megapixels, but more from the factors supporting the megapixels, such as the lighting, microns and the aperture. The new iSight camera also includes larger sensor, pixels and aperture, Continuous Burst mode, True tone flash, Auto image stabilization, Slow-motion video recording, Live video zoom, Square pictures, panorama photos and filters for pictures.

Touch ID:

Security is a big factor in life, especially in cell phones, where no one likes people snooping through their phone without permission. Apple made sure the fingerprint scanner would be somewhere on the iPhone 5S that is plain, simple and easy to use, which is definitely the home button. Where now instead of typing in a short or long password, you will be able to quickly scan your finger and access your data on the iPhone. Making life become so much easier and secure.

The iPhone 5S is a beautiful and amazing phone; it reflects more of how things will be in the future and is currently moving upwards. The 5S will come in 3 colors, Black, Silver White and Gold. Giving Apple an extra cool color addition to their collection of iPhone’s. The iPhone 5S is set to be released in the U.S during September 20, alongside with the iPhone 5C, which includes the same features of the current iPhone 5 and it also comes in various colors.

So personally, I think everyone should take a look into this new iPhone and actually see if it will benefit their needs and then go for it by purchasing it.
