Cincinnati opens its eighth Asian Food Fest. The festival has 30 food booths, ranging from Hispanic to Asian food. Yet majority of the vendors are Asians because the Cincinnati Chamber collaborates with the Asian American Cultural Association of Cincinnati to host this festival. All the food is priced between $2 – $6 (Cincinnati).

First time restaurant-owner, Paul Kong, opens a Korean restaurant, called Bam Bam Kitchen. Kong plans to introduce more authentic Korean dishes to the Ardmore community (Main Line Today).
