With Tastes Growing Healthier, McDonald’s Aims to Adapt Its Menu
McDonald’s has announced that they will cease the marketing of their less nutritional items to children. Essentially McDonald’s is trying to please the more health conscious consumer. To do this they want to feature food choices that are lower in fat, salt, and sugar. The company said that they will be trying to get the healthier food choices to be noticed by marketing them. Since McDonald’s plays a huge part in our society and culture it is imperative that they promote a healthier lifestyle. Most because the rates of child obesity has gone up. The $35 million spent in McDonald’s has shown that the company is trying to help many health problems that are evident around the world.
