Steven Feder (MBA) is an event producer and the CEO of CheckIn Tech, an on-site iPad guest check-in company, originally launched from his MBA capstone project. The company, which provides iPads loaded with state-of-the-art guest list software, has processed nearly 300 events internationally. J. Daniel Galindo (MPA) was appointed senior planning analyst, Department of Homeless Services. Arthur Lurye joined Baruch College’s Office of Communications, Marketing & Public Affairs as a web specialist in September. Previously he worked at Jango.com. Carlos Ruiz, a member of the inaugural class of Baruch’s Max Berger Pre-Law Program, has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in their Minneapolis office.

Ben Guttman is CEO of digital marketing agency Digital Natives Group, which recently launched This is Queens, the borough’s official tourism app. Former Bearcat/CUNYAC all-star point guard Monique Salmon joined the Jamaica national basketball team, which hopes to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.

Shin Bang (MPA) was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow and has accepted a position with the Department of State. Jacob Danielski has assumed the role of VP and client manager in the private and commercial banking division of Customers Bank. He was most recently branch business manager at Capital One Bank. Dana Elmquist (MPA) left his position as associate director of institutional giving at the Museum for African Art to assume his new role as director of corporate relations at Brooklyn Public Library. He also published his capstone thesis in the Journal of Arts Management, Law and Society. Pablo Oliveira is responsible for investor relations throughout Latin America for the Real Estate Group at Latin Markets. Previously he was a financial analyst at New York Life. A native of Uberlandia, Brazil, Oliveira played for the Baruch’s men’s volleyball team and earned two-time first-team All-American honors. Amar Rajwani (EMPA) was accepted in a leadership development program at the Broad Center for Urban Education. He will serve as director of special projects, Newark Public Schools. Ling Yu (MS) has joined ERG Property Advisors as an investment sales associate.

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has named Joohyun “Dennis” Bahn as a director in the firm’s Manhattan office. Previously he co-founded and was managing partner of Artistic Cube Inc. and The Ground magazine and social networking site. He was also co-founder and managing partner of BCB Realty Capital in N.Y.C. and a senior VP with Kensington Financial Services in Garden City, N.Y. Mayor Bloomberg presented Angelo Cabrera (MPA), founder and president of MASA, with an American Dreamer Award in the spring. Cabrera, who is recognized for his work in helping immigrant children achieve academic success, was featured along with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and others in Univison 41’s Es el Momento. Fanta Conde joined BlackRock as an Aladdin business analyst following May graduation. A finance and investments major, Conde was a math tutor, peer career advisor, and women’s basketball guard. Lorraine Di Liu (MPA) is serving at the Rubin Museum of Art as programming intern. Ambrose Eng is a photographer/videographer who created the Baruch Means Business campaign’s Thank You video. Journalism program graduate Juliya Madorskaya is pursuing a career in the culinary arts. As a student, she interned with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and interned for and contributed to Saveur magazine. This past summer, Madorskaya traveled to Italy for a culinary apprenticeship. She returned in the fall to her position as a Miami-area executive chief. Aleksey Schukin became a graduate trustee of the Baruch College Fund in June. He is an oil trading analyst for Credit Suisse.
