Problem–>Solution through Tinkercad

In this assignment, we need to observe a close person to us, find a problem they encounter and find a solution for them.
I have chosen my life partner Mitchell. Mitchell is a dance and fitness instructor. He is always on the run and he is always carrying either boxes or bags with him to work. When it rains, he has to make the choice of either wrapping his belonging in waterproof materials or he has to take a cab. Like everyone else Mitchell only has two hands, when he rains he cannot carry an umbrella, he would have to leave some bags and or boxes behind.
I have come up with the solution of a backpack umbrella. This way Mitchell can have his two hands and doesn’t need to spend tons of money in cabs.

PS: Everything in the design is mine but the mannequin

  1. Wow, this is amazing! I love the detail you added with the raindrops, flowers, and curvature of the design. How did you make the umbrella curved like that? I had difficulty creating curved, fabric surfaces for my design. I also think if there is a way that makes this packable and somewhat stylish, many people in the city would use this!

  2. The detail is super cool but is this product available to purchase? I’ve seen umbrella hats and other things of that sort, but this seems like a more convenient product for this type of problem.

    1. Yes, After I designed I check online and encounter many design for it. I believe the goal of the exercise is to show us that sometimes people do not look around or not enough to solve their own problems.
