Saying goodbye to ART3041 after 3 months
I remember the first day of this course. Three different people who must be professors came in and they explained the course which was collaboration of management entrepreneurship and art. The main subject of this course was 3D printing. I mumbled to myself, ‘What? What is it?’
Making something is my specialty I believe. For example, I used to make Christmas cards for my friends by hand taking a day per card. I was excited to do so. But, I’m not good at multitasking or mixing up something. The collaboration of two courses gave me a lot of headache be honest. If I focused on only 3D design by Sketchup, I may be a straight A student in this course. It was quite challenging that I had to think 3D printing in business way. As I consider myself stubborn, sensitive, and serious, the group project was also challenged me. But I believe that I could learn how to cooperate with the group members and communicate each other using my strength of thinking outside box.
I heard lots of students on the last day of this course asked professors whether there’s a subsequent course or not. I am sure that we all enjoyed learning through this course, yet I think this course should be divided two to maximize what we learned in my point of view. If it is the day that I started this course, I would write down memos of all my creative ideas wherever I am. It would help me think broader and wiser. Eventually, the whole experience in this course gave me an interest to have my own business of 3D printing jewelry in the future.
