Thank you for using Blogs@Baruch!

This will be the CMP 2800 section KTRA blog for the spring 2017 semester.

During class over the next week we’ll explore the various ways we’ll be using the blog.

Please remember to include your name in the title of all your blog posts, otherwise it’s sometimes difficult to know who has written the post. Also remember to indicate the correct category of all your posts so they can be located later. The blog quickly fills up with lots of material; marking all posts with the right category makes that material much more navigable.

Let’s get started! Your first assignment is to write 400 words in reaction to Books I-IV of the Epic of Gilgamesh, to make up for the class we’re missing today.

Since this technology makes it so easy, let’s liven up our posts with visual images. The Brooklyn Museum has a great deal of Ancient Near Eastern art. Have a look at their collection and pick something out to effectively illustrate something you have to say about The Epic of Gilgamesh.

Warm regards,

Prof. Allen
