Biker Gang Attacks Family

This past September, a family driving up the West side on a sunny afternoon suddenly found themselves surrounded by motorcycles. It was 33-year-old man with his wife and 2-year-old daughter in their Range Rover. When one rider in front of the car slowed to a near stop, it was struck by the vehicle and the rider fell to the ground. Caught on a helmet camera of one of the riders, was the chase, which occurred after the accident. After being forced to stop near the entrance of the George Washington Bridge, one of the motorcyclists tries to open the door of the Range Rover. The S.U.V bolts away but again is stopped by traffic on 178th Street in Washington Heights, where the man is pulled out of his car and punched by several assailants. The man was treated for facial lacerations and bruising at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and released.
