Faculty Information
Rianne Subijanto is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Baruch College, City University of New York. Her research interests are on communication technology and infrastructures, social movements, social and environmental justice, and the history of colonialism and capitalism in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Her publication includes Communication against Capital: Red Enlightenment at the Dawn of Indonesia (Cornell University Press, 2025).
